Asia Employment Law Quarterly Review – Singapore Chapter

Kala Anandarajah from the Employment & Executive Compensation Practice contributed the Singapore Chapter of the Asia Employment Law: Quarterly Review 2012 - 2013 (Issue I: First Quarter 2013). The Review is intended to be issued quarterly.  This inaugural edition provides comments on anticipated employment law development during 2013, and reviews some of the major legislative, consultative, policy and case law changes for 2012. The Singapore Chapter highlights key developments in work injury compensation, employment of foreign manpower, workplace safety and health, CPF contributions, work passes, foreign domestic workers and maritime labour, as well as case law pertaining to employment.

The Review is a collaborative effort by several law firms across Asia, including China, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Thailand, and coordinated through the Hong Kong law firm Mayer Brown JSM. To view the Singapore Chapter, click here.
