Project Schools, an initiative organized by the Law Society of Singapore and supported by the Rajah & Tann Foundation, has been nominated in the Innovative Idea category of the Hague Institute for the Internationalisation of Law's Innovating Justice award. The project has advanced to the final round of the awards, having been voted as one of the Top Three Finalists.
Project Schools is an initiative aimed at teaching secondary school students about the law, such as how laws are made and criminal laws relating to issues such as cyber offences and illegal moneylending. It has since reached nearly 12,500 students from 27 schools.
The Project is supported by the Rajah & Tann Foundation, which is the vehicle through which Rajah & Tann pilots its charitable endeavours and contributions. Established in 2010, it is the first dedicated charity foundation set up by a law firm in Singapore.

Kala Anandarajah, Head of the Competition & Antitrust and Trade Practice, has been nominated to appear in the 3rd edition of the World's Leading Women in Business Law, which is part of the Expert Guides series. This is the third consecutive year in which Kala has been recognized by in-house counsel and peers as an exceptional practitioner in her field.

Rajah & Tann partner Paul Tan has been voted into the Council for the Law Society of Singapore. In an election of his peers in the Junior Category of the Law Society, Paul was one of two successful candidates to be selected as new Council members.
Paul joins Rajah & Tann partner Gregory Vijayendran, who is a Council member in the Senior Category of the Law Society.
