What's new on eOASIS :

 

The Bankruptcy (Amendment) Bill was read the first time in Parliament on 17 November 2008. The Bill seeks to introduce a Debt Repayment Scheme into Singapore’s pre-bankruptcy regime. This Update provides in a nutshell the key highlights of the Bill. 

On 13 November 2008, the Singapore Exchange Limited issued a consultation paper seeking feedback from the public in relation to the proposed penalty framework for failed share delivery. This Update sets out the key highlights of the proposed penalty framework. 

On 30 October 2008, the Audit Committee Guidance Committee released a 192-page Guidebook for Audit Committees in Singapore (‘Guidebook’) to strengthen the corporate governance practices of listed companies in Singapore. A quick overview of the key features of the Guidebook is set out in this Update.

In October 2008, the European Commission ('EC') published a revised Remedies Notice and an amended Merger Implementing Regulation.
